Members of the M100 Board

 

The M100 Sanssouci Colloquium is accompanied by a (mainly journalistic) advisory board. The members meet periodically in Potsdam and plan and discuss together the topics and participants of the M100 conferences. The advisory board acts also as jury for the M100 Media Award.

 

Chairmen of the board are the British publisher Lord Weidenfeld and Potsdam’s Lord Mayor, Jann Jakobs.

Mathias Müller von Blumencron

Editor-in-Chief Digital Media, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Frankfurt/Main

Born on July 23, 1960 in Hamburg, Germany. Law studies and study of business administration in St. Gallen, Hamburg and Kiel. Journalistic education at the Henri-Nannen-Schule (Hamburg School of Journalism). Following he joined Capital and Wirtschaftswoche as an editor. In 1992, he joined Der Spiegel, beginning as editor on the national affairs desk, then as a business correspondent in Washington and New York.

From September 2000 he served as editor-in-chief of Spiegel Online. From 2008 to April 2013 co-editor-in-chief of Der Spiegel. Since October 2013 editor-in-chief for all digital products at Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
